The University of Calicut was established in 1968. situated in a panoramic plateau, in sylvan surroundings, on either side of the N.H.17, about 24kms south of Kozhikode city, Kerala, India, the campus has an ideal natural environment for education. The University main campus is at Thenjipalam, near to Calicut.The University has two Centers, one at Trichur, and another one at Calicut. University of Calicut is a premier institution for studies and research in the sciences, the humanities and the arts.
